There are aspects of the history of cities that can only be known through their buildings. There is something of the history of Buenos Aires that can only be known and understood through the Kavanagh building. Kavanagh could have been in 1934 the future of the city of Buenos Aires. Therein lies its historical interest. In the scarce two years of its management and construction, Kavanagh manifested a proposal, a model of urban production.

"Kavanagh Buenos Aires" brings together unique testimonies, research texts and critical and historical appreciation. It presents nearly 300 original photographs specially taken together with important images of great historical and documentary value. Its chapters deal with architecture, interior design and expressions of art and literature inspired by his figure. The edition also offers a drone film record accessible from its pages.

This project, conceived and directed by Guillermo Alonso, was carried out by the editor and designer Ezequiel Díaz Ortiz, the photographers Emma Livingston and Gustavo Sosa Pinilla. Researchers Silvio Plotquin, Mariana Fiorito and Eleonora Menéndez wrote the texts. Architect Marcelo Nougués and Ambassador Sergio Baur developed the themes of design and decoration and the link between the Kavanagh and the arts and literature respectively.
